Poisonous spiders in scarborough ontario?

would there be any sort of poisonous spider in scarborough? like any time through the year. anything like the brown recluse or the black widow? and what are the chances of it like staying in like my basement, closet or something even through winter.

  2. Ontario is not part of the natural distribution of the Brown Recluse, but that doesn't mean they can't hitch hike there.  Only the environment does allow them to propogate there.  See map at this link.

    It is likely that the Northern Black Widow (Latrodectus variolus) exist in Ontario but you won't find them on the wall.  They are reclusive and your mostly to find them in a wood pile or a dark, unused corner of the garage or basement, not in the living space.  Here is another link.
