Pokèmon Blue Rescue Team; when should I go to fight Moltres?

I am playing the Blue Rescue Team right now.

I have a Cubone, and my partner is a Mudkip. I have a Farfetch'd as a third pokèmon in the team, but I know he won't be able to join when Moltres is who I am fighting with, because he won't be there.

What I am really arguing with, is when should I go, and what level?

I have currently just been at Xatu, and there has been 1 day since that at the game. Now I am supposed to be revealed as a human to all pokèmon in the Pokèmon Square.

I am at level 15, and my partner Mudkip is at level 14. When should I go fight Moltres? I chose Mudkip because I wanted to have a bigger chance to win upon Moltres.

And, I've heard that Moltres is the last of the hard "bosses." But isn't there a blue bird after that, because I remember I met that bird..

Last time I restarted, was because I couldn't find that peeled coconut or something like that, that the monkeys wanted. Well, well - I'm gonna look better this time. The two last times, I lost at Moltres.

Moltres IS one of the hardest bosses in Story Mode.

The bosses you fight after Moltres are:

:: Articuno (the blue bird)

:: Groudon

:: Rayquaza

I think you should level your Pokemon up a bit more before you go and fight Moltres. It is one of the strongest bosses in Story Mode and you're only level 14/15. You should try and get them to about level 20 before you try and fight it again.

The key to defeating Moltres is to know your types. It is the Fire type so use Water, Rock and Electric moves to defeat it.

Obviously use the Water moves that your Mudkip has and Cubone may possibly have some Rock moves that could do some damage to the Moltres.
