Pokemon Blue Rescue Team; "find Thief"?

Question

At my game, I am right before Gengar thinks I am the one making those disasters. I am level 19, and my helper is level 17, so in my eyes - I am im good shape for the place I currently am? I haven't gone up to the fish in the pond yet, so I have lots of time.

But I have got a mission that wants me to "Find Thief." Like, "Thief," the move. Does the client want me to look in the dungeon in the floors under it, to see if I can find the thief laying around? It didn't work just going up to it and giving it a thief that I bought, because it wasn't there. Should I look in all floors up to 9th floor?

here'a easy way have THIEF in your bag & a ESCAPE ROPE now go in the dungeon that needs THIEF now ESCAPE that way you don't have 2 go all the way through the dungeon...i do it all the time .beside you can get another THIEF...if any questions let me know :)
