Pokemon Diamond Breeding Help?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but any pair i put in the day care won't breed. Even when i put ditto (which is supposed to breed with all except unbreedables) in with a pokemon it wont make an egg? any idea why

Can you tell us what 2 pokemon they are.

This sometimes happen with me too. Take out ditto and put him in the daycare again. I dont why but ditto dosent start making eggs when it has been put in the day care for a long time.
