Pokemon Diamond Easy question?

Question

My son is just starting out on his first pokemon on ds lite and he is struggling with locating the pokemon super contest somewhere in Sinnoh. I have tried to help but we cannot seem to get anywhere. Please help all you pokemon fans out there. If you need me to add more detail please ask. Thanks for your help.

the contests are in Hearthome City. You may not be able to get there until you've beaten a few Gym leaders though.

That should help a lot.  It has strategies and a walkthrough for the game.  I would recommend going on yourself and using the search function on your internet browser with some key words.

Edit:  To push rocks that need to be moved (says so when you press a near them)  the HM for Strength is required.  To break rocks the HM for Rock Smash is required.

Well its in Hearthome city, its the 5th gym battle, but you get there after beating crasher wake on pastoria city, when you get there its the big stadium looking building, and to get to the super rank, you have do defeat normal rank and great rank, after that you go to super rank (really hard i can't even beat normal rank)

There are so many "little" side games and quests in the diamond/pearl games that you may find yourself asking many of these qustions here in trying to help your little peanut play this game.  I see that another user here has helped you in finding where to go... but let me recomend that you go to www.gamefaqs.com (once there choose your platform ((ds)) and then you can find the game by title).  There are full walkthroughs and maps on that site.  This way if he gets stuck, you can take a quick look (it is a long walkthrough) if he tells you "where" he is and what his "quest" is.  It will save the time of you waiting here for YA people to answer... and you have a better chance of also getting a straight answer (instead of a few who do know what they are talking about and a few making stuff up lol).  Good luck... it is a fun game!  Tell him that his pokemon needs lots of exercise so he needs to keep training them to make them nice and strong (he will need it later to get further in the game... if he gets to a point where the pokemon he is fighting are too strong, tell him to go back a town or two and train them stronger on pokemon that won't kill him in battle... then he can move on... lots of kids forget to do this).  Good luck!

I Love pokemon diamond game and the contest is in hearthome city, beat gym leaders and follow on through the story if you need help go to google and put in marilland pokemon diamond and pearl walkthrough

if you need help with your starter choose turtwig hes strong and has solid defense with razorleaf at a very early stage
