Pokemon Diamond Ev Training Mew?

Question

Ok i would like to try my hand at ev training, i have a mew from a the special event lv 10 to start out(i know it is an uber but it is my fave pokemon and is one i would like to start with)

Now looking up a bit about Evs this is what i think i need to do, could someone tell me if this is correct and if not how wrong and what i should do.

My Mew has a Naive nature(adament would be ideal but this is ok) and i beleive i should go for special attack and spee, and hp?(at a ratio of 252, 252, 6?)

it is level 10 and i think its only damage attack is pound.

So first off speed i beleive i need to fight starlys(sp) which it should be able to one hit >.<.

if my undertsnading is correct i should have to kill 252(or 50 with the power ankle(is this the right item) and then two kills without holding the ancle.

However assuming i am doing this correctly i am unsure what pokemon to kill for special attack and hp, as it is only lv 10 and only knows pound.

Ok so if someone could tell me if i am looking at this correctly and how i should do this step by step.

If this is a bad pokemon because of its level or nature advice of another pokemon to try out would be appreciated.

i also need some help of what attacks i should use and how it is best to get said attacks(buy them, preferable no hard to get ones :P)

Anyway anyone who could help me and tell me if i am completely wrong and then point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated :D.

i have a level 30 mew and i got it from the event on emerald it currently sits at:  hp 108 attack 73 defense 60 sp atk 71 sp def 67 speed 71. hasty nature. and i havent used it once. i want speed sp att whatevers left hp. i have never ev trained a pokemon so i have no idea what to do. its moves are pound transform mega punch metronome. i am going to migrate it to diamond.please give me a direction to go in and some new moves to teach it?
