Pokemon Diamond/Pearl GTS question?

Why is it when i seek pokemon do i get limited results? If you have the game then you know it is organized through alphabetical order, ABC, DEF ex...I want Shaymin but it doesn't come up.

Yes,it is.You can only search for a pokemon in your pokedex.

Well you have to see the pokemon before it appears on the list i wish it didnt work like that but it does...
