  1. You don't state where you're located, so that makes the question a little difficult to answer.  Here in Dallas, Texas, Pokemon trading cards are available at Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, and most comic and hobby shops.  I'd recommend definitely checking the chain discount stores (Wal-Mart, etc.).  You can also order them online, typically at a bit of a discount (except for shipping).  I use collectandsave.com.

Also keep in mind that there are currently 5 expansion sets released under the Diamond & Pearl expansion block - Diamond & Pearl, Mysterious Treasures, Secret Wonders, Great Encounters  and Majestic Dawn.  Not to mention that the 6th, Legends Awakened, is going to be released in just a few weeks.

    Hope this helps!

  2. they ARE AT CASES GAS STATION

  3. i agree with scott

but if your son doesnt have the ds games i would get him pokemon diamond or pokemon pearl

diamond is more popular, with these games you catch and train your own pokemon and battle the 8 gym leaders and the elite four

you can also battle and trade with friends and if you have a wireless internet connection you can battle and trade pokemon with trainers all over the world! its really fun and less expensive than trading cards and beside if you get him a pack of cards he might not even get good one a pack only comes with 8 or 9 cards for bucks

i would definately get him the games for the ds

and if he doesnt have a ds then you can get him that too

  4. Tell your son he's out of his mind.  I've wasted sooooo much money on pokemon cards.  I must have spent at least $200 on those stupid things.  I had fun with them when I was younger but, I would much rather have the money that I wasted on them.  If you'd still rather have the cards then I bet you could find them at any Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, or any collector's stores.

    I hope I helped you.
