Question:

Pokemon Diamond not evolving Pokemon?

I just caught a Rhydon and I want it to be in my party. The problem is, I think Rhypherior looks stupid. If I don't evolve it, will my Rhydon be less powerful at level 100 than if I had evolved it into a Rhypherior?

  1. No. They just made rhypherior to make getting a full pokedex that more difficult. But evolving it is your choice alone. It wont effect the power of the Pokemon

  2. Sorry but i dont agree with them

    I will explain this

The first evolution is Rhyhorn and he has this base stats:

    HP- 80

    Attack- 85

    Defense- 95

    Sp. Attack- 30

    Sp. Defense- 30

    Speed- 25

And the base stats for RHYDON are this:

    HP-105

    Attack- 130

    Defense- 120

    Sp attack- 45

    Sp Defense- 45

    Speed- 40

As you can see the change in stats change a lot but wait there is more:

    Rhyperior:

    HP- 115

    Attack- 140

    Defense- 130

    Sp Attack- 55

    Sp Defense- 55

    Speed- 40

As you can see the change is a very big one in the stats so:

YES if you dont evolve rhydon into rhyperior it will be weaker than if it were a rhyperior.

    Its your choice.  Hope i helped (;

  3. No, it wont do anything. It will just not be in your poke'dex as one of your pokemon. But if your done training your Rhydon you should get another Rhydon and evolve it to a Rhyperior because Rhyperior raise their power fast

  4. I agree with puppydoglove678
