Pokemon Emerald on the DS?

I have bought Pokemon Emerald off ebay, and played in on my DS for a while. However, when trying to load it after 2/3 hours of play, the data 'had been erased due to corruption or damage'. Becasue this happened a few times, I thought the cartridge was broken, so I bought another one. However, I soon found this showed the same problem.

Basically, I was trying to migrate pokemon from Emerald to Diamond, and I found that the data is erased on the Emerald games when i played Diamond with Emerald in the GBA slot.

I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem, or if there is a way to fix it.

When you migrate a pokemon to diamond or pearl from the gba pokemon games they can't be transfered back to the gba game.

Choose carefully on which pokemon you would like to transfer because you can't migrate it back.

the same thing happened when i had gold version

if you have a gba try playing it on there if you still have the same problem

da some thing happened 2 my friend so she gav it 2 me if there waz a problem. da emarld game has to be on a gameboy if u wan it 2 work better. also if u slam da game into da slot 2 hard it will erase da file or it;ll break. here'z a tip u can blow in da game slot n try it again it may work sevearl timez.

Very interesting, well do you mean to say that the Pokemon you migrated were erased when you transferred them or that the whole save file was deleted like you had to start a new game every time you used it?
