Pokemon Glitches?

Are there any glitches in Pokemon (without Gameshark or anything else like that) The American edition, that lets you catch rare pokemon? Please Help!

If you encounter a lengrndary pokemon, run away from it. It will disappear when you switch off or save it. Go look for it again. Two or Three times later it might become a shiny legendary pokemon!

ok one glitch go infront of a legendary and save infront of it and turn it off and on again and again and again and sooner or later that legendary will be a shiny pokemon

in emerald, there is a clone giltch that lets you clone pokemon in the battle tower.
