Pokemon Gold; The Battle Tower?

Question

I'm not sure if there IS a battle tower or something like it in pokemon gold. If there is one, or something where you choose the level of a pokemon and fight it, PLEASE reply.

There is, in fact, no Battle Tower in Gold or Silver. The Johto Battle Tower appears only in Crystal, just west of Olivine City.
