Question:

Pokemon LeafGreen - Temporarily stopping eevolution?

I want to have an umbreon with Baton Pass, but I think the only way to do that is to let eevee get to level 36. Now, is there any disadvantage to waiting for evolution? I would think there is a disadvantage. I mean, you start gaining better stats when it's evolved right? So more time in the evolved form means more time gaining better stats. So ultimately wouldn't a level 50 umbreon that evolved from eevee at level 10 have higher stats than a level 50 umbreon that evolved at level 30? Or do the stats soon catch up? Advice would be great.

None of this really matters if I can get baton pass earlier than level 36...like if you breed it a certain way can it make a baby eevee that already knows baton pass?

  1. I'ts ok!... If you want Baton Pass level eevee to level 36 and evolve him... when you evolve a pokemon your stats grow right? when you evolve late and missed the stats you could have grown.. It grows when you evolve and become Umbreon... Also If there's a stat you want to raise you can get a macho brace and fight pokemons that has a high stats that you want to raise, Good Luck

  2. the only set back would be if he learns a good move at an early lvl
