Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Explorers of time?

I am playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Explorers of time and I was wondering if pokemon can evolve? I am at the part where im searching for the time gears in the desert. I dont mean the starters but the other guys on the team, if so how?

You can't evolve your other pokemon until you defeat dialga and restore his control of time. Your lead pokemon and your partner pokemon can't evolve until you beat darkrai for good!

Yes, your Pokemon that you've recruited can evolve. You have to defeat the first half of the game, which means defeating Primal Dialga and having the credits roll, and then defeating the guild members at Mystifying Forest. Once you defeat the guild members, you'll go past them into the Luminous Springs. Once there, it will tell you that every Pokemon except your starters will be able to evolve there. If you want to evolve your starters, then you have to go through the WHOLE storyline and defeat Darkrai at the end, then you have to recruit Palkia from Spatial Rift, put him on your team from the Chimecho Assembly, and then go to Luminous Springs. Then you'll be able to evolve your starters. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
