Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 - Why Cant I evolve ?

Question

I cant evolve in pokemon mystery dungeon 2 .

I just got to the mysterfting forest where you can evolve but i aint evolving .

My totodile < ( partner ) and cyndaquil < ( me) cant evovle and thier at level 53 and 52 ?

anyone know whats goin on ?

You have to have beaten Darkrai... then if you go to the Luminous spring, but you cant evolve there YET.. so, you have to recruit Palkia, found the Marine Resort and recruited Manaphy... then you can evolve
