My son would like to know how do you get pokemon to join your team?

Can anyone help???

Actually the way it works is that if you have wi-fi another person playing wi-fi can send you a team if you received the SOS mail when connected to wi-fi and and get a mail and send rescue or you can get it a random team.

To make it more simpler when turning on your DS in the main screen before you start that game theres.

Go to "Get Team" and it ask you what would you like to do?

You can either send a team Receive Team or cancel and you can Receive a team randomly or from your friend after you finished rescuing him or her pokemon from a Dungeon.

However you can only except only 1 team if you want to receive another team then the first team you got must be deleted if you want another team.

Rescue friends in high levels dungeons they will grant you strong pokemon i been playing pokemon for a few months and to say i got some awesome pokemon after rescuing a friend from a dungeon that has 99 floors and they will reward you with a team that has pretty much of a strong type team.

You need friend codes to get team or an email.

If you want to rescue go to "Friend Rescue" and after that go to Rescue Mail then go to Receive mail and decide if you wanna go Wireless Comm or password or Nintendo WFC.

Each of those 3 are connections on how to save a friend rather from password from a friend you now or wireless modem or Nintendo wifi that use a USB port you connect to the computer.

After selecting one of the 3 by far that one i know is going by WFC is by the choices shown there.

Choose by fewest rescues and wait till it loads then its Ask you "Connect to nintendo Wi-fi Connection press "Yes"

then it will log you in but depending what connection you have then it tells you connections fewest so far etc.

Then select a SOS mail and the selected mail will go to your server and then it will automatically disconnect from wifi and it saves.

then go rescue but remember take only the things you want from storage from your past games but if you leave that rescue place and u save you will lose all of your items forever.

After completing Go Rescue go to Go to friend rescue and go to Rescue mail again and send the A-OK Mail then later if your lucky you can get items that your friend send to you or a team.

well thats abit outa the way alvaro all you gotta do is get a good recruiting item like a golden mask or amber tear, then when you find a pokemon you want to join, battle it, make sure your leader(the one he controles) kills it if it doesnt flash and disappear then it will ask to join your team. This is available after you get a little ways in the game.
