Pokemon Pearl...Honey trees?

Question

OK. It sounds stupid, I know. If you put more than just one honey on one tree, would that affect the time needed for the Pokemon to appear? Like, if I put 30 honeys on one tree, would that make the time needed shorter for catching the Pokemon on that tree?

I think it increses your chances of finding a rare pokemon, or, your just wasting Honey
