Pokemon Sapphire water pokemon?

i am real early in the game, and the first gym leader in kicking me in the balls over and over again, so where can i find a water pokemon this early in the game?

The only way to get a water Pokemon early in the game is to trade to someone that already has a water type or start with mudkip.

Wingull can be found in the grass outside of the forest, on both sides. You can check by where you first enter it or behind the pretty petal shop.
