Pokemon Visual boy advance save file?

Why cant I save for pokemon emerald or other kinds for visual boy advance i knw u can press ctrl s and save but when i get 2 the championship and win i cant continue no mre thts not fun so can some1 help me or is there a file i can save?

why dont you just press enter (start) and then go to save. or just press shift F. if you cannot save in the game just download another emerald rom. if i find one then i will email you. these ruby games work: http://pokemon_rs_english.tripod.com/ and u can download sapphire from doperoms.com. Hope i helped. try 2 dowload emerald from dope roms.
