go to the second town and talk to the grumpy old man and watch him catch a pokemon then fly to cindibar iland surf to the left and you will encounter a pixelated block calld m (only catch at lvl 0) giv it a xp share and it will evolve into a lvl 100 kangashkan(this will stuf up your hall of fame stats)

when you dont have the silph scope from giovanni go to the pokemon tower in lavender town when you see a ghost look at your pokemon stats and it will show the pokemon instead of the ghost but you still cant catch it as its really glitches up the ghosts so you cant catch them when you use it hope this helps :) :P

theres a mew glitch but its a bit complicated. first you beat the nugget bridge in cerulian city and you must have a pokemon that knows a sleep move and abra YOU MUST HAVE ABRA!!! you go up nugget bridge and then go to the left, see the water you must stand diagonaly from the top left hand corner and get ready to use teleport next save the game incase you get it wrong and move forward QUICKLY PRESS THE START BUTTON OR IT WONT WORK then go to pokemon then select abra and then do teleport. you will be back at cerulian then you go on the way to bills house where the bushes are battle the trainer that is looking north and ONLY GO 2 STEPS INFRONT OF HIM BECAUSE IF YOU GO RIGHT INFRONT OF HIM THE GAME WILL CRASH beat him and the start button will work. then go up to nugget bridge and the game will pause itself DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SAVE IT!!!!! then just close the start menu and then there will be a lv 7 mew. it actually works i just did it
