Pokemon diamond - breeding?

while i got a ditto and i was wondern can i breed it with my empleon etc or wat the deal

Yes, what the the two before said, it will work. Another thing is if you give your ditto an everstone while it's in the daycare the hatched pokemon has a 50% chance of getting the ditto's nature.

While you are trying to hatch the egg, it is best to have a pokemon with FLAME BODY or MAGMA ARMOR ability(such as slugma, macargo, camerupt, numel, magmar, magmotar, etc.). Having one of those pokemon in your party with the egg will make it hatch in half the steps

Edit - as long as the old man does NOT say "the two prefer to play with other pokemon rather than each other", your pokemon are breedable.

Well usually u can breed a ditto wit any pokemon... but i remember in the older games u couldnt breed it wit the first pokemon u choose... but i traded in diamond for a torchic and i made plenty torchic babies... i hadnt trade wit my infernape... but it wont hurt to try.. if it dont work... hay u can always breed wit othaz... and heads up... legendaries dont work sry...

yea, just leave the ditto in a day care centre with wateva pokemon u wanna breed. leave it in there and keep checkin back at the centre until they tell you that theres an egg. By the way, it doesnt matter how  long you leave it, the egg hatches after you have taken a certain amount of steps eg.10000. this is how the egg hatches aswell. carry it with u and after a certain amount of steps it will hatch.

in diamond/pearl you can breed ditto with anything except legendaries even pokemon with no genders

u can breed ditto with any pokemon except legendaries but the one exception is manaphy. also, u can use the flame body or magma armor ability to half the time eggs hatch. and, all eggs hatched are lv . an easy way to raise the steps is the route in solcean town going up and down.

you can breed any pokemon with ditto except legendaries and pre-evolution pokemon

if you have the day care poke etch app you can keep refreshing it and in the middle of the ditto and the other pokemon will be an egg or you can talk to the man outside the day care and he will tell you if theres an egg or if theres a chance you will get an egg hope this helps
