Pokemon diamond eevee breeding?

im breeding two eevees there both the same lvl but all the eevees that come from the eggs are all male is there any reason for this

the female pokemon controls whether the egg will be male or female and it will always be the same for that pokemon you could try using a ditto to see what you get out of it
