Pokemon ev training?

Question

does it count when you fight a trainers pokemon? do you still get the ev?

like what if i only want 252 hp so i keep fighting wild bidoofs to get 1 hp ev. so if i fought a trainers pokemons would i get ev from their pokemon too? cuz then tht would s***w everything up kinda.
