Pokemon firered - newbie team help?

Question

i just got my firered version back from my friend a few hours ago, and i need some team help

Wartortle Lvl 19

Pidgey lvl 17

Nidoran(boy) lvl 8 (just caught)

for my future team im going for

(all the pokemon above^)

growlithe

pikachu (looking for one)

a good fighting or psychic type ( i might ditch nidoran)

i also need help for a team that will help me for E4/champion (no legendaries plz too overpowered)

Pretty good, and you're a newbie?! That looks like someone who has at least a year's worth of battling! For the Psychic type, I reccomend Drowzee (Route Next to Vermillion City) It has a great movepool, great stats, and it's great if you use it right (I used him to beat E4 with Venusaur and level 40's). Also, DON'T DITCH NODORAN! WHEN HE'S A NIDOKING, HE WILL DESTROY ANY POKEMON THAT DARE GET IN HIS WAY!
