Pokemon game question! game boy! fire red? red?

just wondering if fire red is that much different to the old red in its gameplay e.t.c. and also which is the best pokemon game in your opinion!

fire red its diferernt because it has 7 new islands

pokemons have abilities like pokemon ruby etc

u can also trade pokemon from pokemon ruby saphire and emerald

graphics are better

and the best pokemon is blastoise

I have fire-red personally. Both are good with just a tad different touch this is how I would pick it...Go with what you like more. Red or Green? Or how about this, do you like nature or cool burning fire-blasts!! MUAHA

Most of the game is pretty silimar exept for a few different items and some new powers. The main differece is the addition of the Svi island and more pokemon that from other regions appear after you beat the elite 4 like the four mainly the Joto region.

They are almost exactly the same.

The best pokemon game would have to be pokemon pearl/diamond.

yes by far fire red is newer thna the gb color version the best pokemon game is pokemon diamond/pearl pokemon ranger and the new pokemon ranger that comes out in november 10
