Pokemon help!! (mesprit)

Question

i have a gastly that knows mean look, its speed is great

and i gave it quick claw

when i used mean look it worked but i tried all my pokemon balls and none could cacth mesprit (i have no master ball)

plus the mesprit eventually just left =[[

did i do something wrong?

nothing, here's a hint, try buying some dusk balls, about 10-20. then at night,( and night only because dusk balls only works at night) lower it's health and use the dusk ball. also, one last hint, if gastly fainted or is switched out, mean look would not be effective anymore

if your gastly fainted by mesprit or u switched pokemon, mean look wears off. just keep using mean look on it when u see it or attack it. if it gets attacked first then runs, the next time u see it, it will still have the damage or status condition on it.

tip- if u find it at night, use dusk balls, b/c dusk are 3.5x more effective in caves or at night. i'd suggest using mean look, throw 2 or 3 quick balls, then chuck ultra balls, and if battling at night, chuck dusk balls if ultra does not work.

Get an action replay, download the masterball cheat off the internet and catch mesprit, or just try over and over again
