Pokemon help???

My little brother likes pokemon and my Mom has made him get rid of them before for concern of thier original name "Pocket Monsters". Another concern was that she had was that the Christian Media said that the producers from China were wicked. What do you think???

Pokemon should be fine, the people in China are just making some games for them to sell, they really aren't wicked. The Christian Media is like any other media, they make things up just because they don't like it.

Oh, and Yu-Gi-Oh is the one you shouldn't let him play. That goes into the whole h**l thing, Bakugan too.

Persuasion and talking her into to it is your best bet. The other way is to show her the steps into playing it. Yugioh is not a good fall back for your lil brother. Oh and PKMN originated from Japan so that stops the wickedness.

I think your mom is too overbearing.  And Pokemon is not Chinese.  It originate in Japan.  She should get her facts straight before heading out on a crusade of her own.  The fact that they were called Pocket Monsters is that they were kept inside the pokeballs and the balls could shrink to fit inside a pocket.  It has no sexual conotations whatsoever.  The Christian Media think that everything outside of 1700 is barbaric and Satanic.  And yes, I am a Christian so it's not like I am saying it out of spite.
