Pokemon pearl team, help for moves and level?

Question

I am about to go and try to defeat the elite, can someone give me what level and moves my pokemon team should be on?

My pokemon are,

Starly

Buizel

Lucario

Roselia

Ponyta

Palkia

If you have time, please help me!

You should have at least level 40. You have a fairly well-balanced team. I would consider adding and electricity if possible. Other than that you should have something like:

Starly (Starapter?): 40-50+

Buizel (Floatzel?): 40-50+ (Water is useful for one entire trainer, just use surf and hydro pump)

Lucario: 50-55+

Roselia: 50-55+

Ponyta (Rapidash?): 50-60+ (Fire has a good elemental advantage, leveling is worthwhile)

Palkia: 60-65+ (Definitely the most worth leveling up. Your strongest pokemon most likely)

Note that those are the minimum levels most likely. Anything higher is better :)

It's less about the levels and more about the strategy. Stock up on like 10-20 Full Restores and maybe 10 Revives. If you can't afford them go fight some trainers, especially the rich guys. Also get the best Ethers so you can continue using your strongest moves. PP UP helps quite a bit because you can use moves more often and more is restored by Ethers. Don't ever use weak attacks to save bigger ones. Just make sure you have Ethers. It costs a lot but its better than leveling every Pokemon to 70.

Also, dunno if you have heard of EVs (Effort Values). But try to get them in abilities that will raise your dominant stats, it will help you out later greatly. If you don't know what they are look at the link in the sources. (It is a guide from an older version, but it should still help). Also use vitamins (Calcium, Iron, etc.).

The first trainer is a Bug trainer, so Ponyta would be a good starter choice. Use a lot of elemental moves.

get starky buizel and ponyta to evolve. the bare minimum for each pokemon is 50 each pokemon should be abouve 50 ok.
