Pokemon sapphire version (GBA)?

Question

Im really stuck on this bit i've dived and am now in sootoppolis but how do i get into the gym the door seems to be closed and when i go near the man by the cave he tells me to leave. What do i need to do to get into the gym and carry on with the game. And can no one please put a walkthrough source on i've already tried some and they just confuse me. LOL

Well, you need all the other gym badges && for the Kyogre thing to happen.

That's simple: You have to find and awaken Kyogre first.

To find Kyogre, dive down on route 126 and keep swimming until you find a cave. You will know it's the right cave because A) you will see the submarine team Aqua stole and B) if you resurface, you will find a square of land submerged underwater. Surface inside the cave and navigate your way through the Cave. Once you awaken Kyogre, you must return to Sootopolis and go into the cave of origin. Fight and capture Kyogre and then you will be able to challenge Wallace (8th Gym).

first you surf left of the island then go on land then go north (as far as you can go) then go right and you'll see some people talk to them then you go in to a cave go to the end of the cave then capture kyogre then you can go in the gym. p.s. you must have seen kyogre the 1st time and make it start raining then you can do this. Hope I helped :)
