  1. You don't really have "outs" before the flop since the flop is so important.

If you mean the odds of you hitting a specific hand on the flop, there are odds calculators out there.

The 3rd section in the odds chart is hitting certain hands on the flop.

  2. use an online odds calculator, cardplayer.com has a good one

  3. You don't have "outs" pre-flop.

  4. Pre-flop you really don't have outs you have a percentage that you will improve your hand.  That doesn't even mean that you will improve to the best hand.  For example if you have a pair of 8s, pre-flop you are aprox  8-1 to make a set.  That is only 1 in every 9 times you will hit it.  Roughly 11%.

The probablities for all the hand combinations are too many to list, but there are hundreds of resources you can find.  The best resource I found was Stats and Probabilities 101 at the community college.  You'd be amazed how much that class relates to poker.
