Poker: five of a kind?

i dont play poker for long but i never heard of using a joker as one of the cards

is it automaticaly assumed to be a wild card ?

is it used in txs hold em? which games they use it in?

anything about it please let me know

also i heard its counted as the lowest card is it still a wild?

  1. There are no wild cards in Texas Holdem.  There are many variations of poker which do have wild cards though and if there's a joker in the deck then it always is wild.  With wild cards you can count them as any card you wish to make up the best hand.
