do other players have to call the blind or big blind

There is a big blind and a little blind(half the amount of the big blind), so they already have some money put into the pot. Everyone else can either fold, call the big blind or raise the big blind. The small blind still had to put in more because they only put in half the amount of the big blind at the start. Once it is the big blinds turn he can either raise or just check and see the flop(that is if no one has raised him).

If they are little blind or big blind they have to put in there bet-but you can either call or fold the bet if you're not either of those. But to stay in the game you need to call the Big Blind or whatever it is to you if someone raises before the flop
