  1. the best is small snack foods

keep to small, snacky, and non messy foods

the most common mistake is certain chips like cheese puffs cause they get on the cards

one good idea I've seen was small sandwiches

the sandwich was invented during a card game

also anything that has alcohol is fair game too ;)

  2. nothing greasy or messy. it will get all over the cards.i would serve plain chips like tostitos and salsa or cheese dip. maybe some plain peanuts or cashews. maybe some of those frozen stuffed potatoes.

  3. You want to make yourself look good so yeah spend a little more than the other guys do.  Like people are saying no finger food.  Sandwiches are OK but you want to cut them up in quarters and don't go heavy on the mayo.

    King Cobra Poker

  4. we serve chili (food that require spoons keep reasy fingers off the cards). Pretzels, chips and popcorn are crowd favorites. We tend to drink a beer or 2 during our games so the salty snacks are preferred. Also the above snacks are preferred for clean up.

paper plates and plastic cups are good to remember also.

    have fun!
