If you've gotten AA and the flop comes out A J K all of hearts, two people before you move all in for $500 and you have $800 left, and there is someone behind you with $1,000 waiting for your decision, what do you do? Do you push, straight call, or fold? All players have been playing "average" a mix of tight and aggressive.

  1. You need to fold here.  As much as it sucks folding AA, especially when you hit a set - with 2 callers, you are probably behind here and would need the board to pair in order to make your hand a winner.  If the opponents are tight and aggressive, chances are at least one of them has a made hand better than yours.  In addition, the guy behind you already has his decision made if he is going to call or fold - in other words, you do not have enough in your stack to push him out of the pot based on an all in raise.

  2. Fold it bro, There is a good chance that one of them is holding a flush, and best case scenario you have 7 outs, but you dont know what there holding, so you may only have 4 outs, or maybe none. Im not gonna risk it. Even if they are on a flush draw, they have plenty of outs to back them up. But dont forget that you are gambling, and if this was a final table, i would probably call, knowing i can elimate 2 of the other players and increase my stack signifigantly.

  3. That's a toughie since you have a very good hand

but since they immediately pushed all in with that dangerous flop, I would assume that they have an even better hand, such as a straight or a flush.

    I would fold.

  4. straight call you could never fold but if u hit u want all the draws in u'll make more$

  5. Well you have top set, other players either have a flush, or are drawing to one.  You need the case ace, or the board to pair.

Right now you have seven outs, meaning you hit about 28% of the time.

Let's say you miss the turn and it is an 8.  On the river you can still hit the case ace, or pair the board.  So now you have 10 outs, which you probably hit about 20% of the time.

Clearly you have to push or fold, because if you call, and get raised, you would be stupid to fold for $300 more.

So the pot was $405, two people move for $500.  So it is $1,405.  You'd need to move in for $800, and you could get a call for another $800.

So you are betting $800 to potentially win $2,205.

It's tough to have the perfect answer here.  You could already have two flushes to beat.  But equally one or more of the players could have a high flush card and still need another.

Top set and that many outs is too tempting for me.  I think I am going to push here and see what happens.
