when i was playing with my brother , we both had four aces, b/c we were playing with wild cards of duece and one-eyed. when we both got four aces, i had a 6 for the fifth card, and he had a five. does it go whoever had the higher ace, or is it the fifth card????

  1. You would always go to the last, or in this case fifth card.  The 6 kicker beats the five and would therefore win the hand.


  2. if you are playing best 5 card hand then the 6 would be the better kicker.  

  3. you win with a 6 kicker, beating his 5 kicker

  4. the 6 high wins unless you made some rule as to the one with the most real aces wins. when you play wild card games it's really up to the rules you set.

  5. it gos to Kicker, or the highest 5th card.  

  6. can also depend on whether it was hold-em, omaha, razz hi/low etc.

    but in normal circumstances, you win lol :D

    Unless you had made some specific rules about the poker variation you were playing before hand, all suits and wild cards are of equal value.  So you both made quad aces, you had the higher kicker and thus the best hand.
