6 man table. 5/10 NL with 1k stacks. You're dealt QT off in cut-off and you raise to $30. The button calls and so does the big blind.

Flop: Kc Qd Td

BB check. You make a continuation of bet $50 - The button raises to $150 and the bb calls. You think for a moment and decide to call.

Turn: 8c

The big blind leads out for $250. Whats your move?

a)Call, you maybe be up against a straight but have the implied odds to call

b)Call, you're confident that you're ahead of the big blind but don't have a read on the button

c)Raise, isolate the bb since he missed the flush draw on the turn

d)Raise, its likely you're ahead and should protect your hand by raising

e)Fold, its unlikely your hand is best at this point

f)Fold, you might have the best hand but there are many hands that dominate you

  3. Need more info.

How much is in my stack...1k...over 1k, under 1k?

what is the general play style I have been showing up to this point.....tight, loose, aggresive, conservitive?

what is the general play style that the other two have been showing up to this point.....tight, loose, aggresive, conservitive?

  4. c) Auzi d**a nume pari a fi roman. E adevarat sau ma insel? Daca da, inseamna ca ai auzit de Daniel Negreanu, ce crezi de el?

  5. I would fold.   Although one player might be on a straight draw, one of them probably has it.   I would bet the BB has the AJ and was slow playing the flop.  However, with two flush draws now out there, I think the BB is trying to push out the draws.  Maybe the BB even had  Ad Jd and thought either way they were sitting pretty good, but now with that 2nd club out there.......      that 8c shouldn't have helped anyone unless they have 88 as there is nothing that 8 provided to a straight since  9 J was already good and 79 would not have made the hand yet.

And what if the BB is bluffing or on the club or diamond draw....  calling puts the button after you and they already raised at the flop.  They might have a straight or on a flush draw.  What if they re-raise? Are you willing to call another raise?  And what if it turns into a all-in contest between the BB and the button?  Are you willing to go all in at this point with not only the possiblity one of them already have the straight, but what if they are on straight draws and are looking for the broadway straight?  AK, Ax is not going to hurt you unless a J comes up.....  or a diamond, or a club.....   LOL   There is too much action at the flop to your raise of $50 and your postion before the button is risky to call the raise of $250 with all the possibilities out there.

Last comment, let's say you call......    odds that a diamond, club, or A, J, or 9 will come on the river are pretty high.  So what do you do if you call the $250 on the turn, and you get lucky and the button just calls so you do not get pushed into another raise by either the button or BB.  If the board ends up with 3 diamonds, 3 clubs, or a 4 card straight.....    are you going to call another $250 or greater raise?

This is when I think you have to know when to lay down even what might be the better hand at this point.
