I recently read an article of online players who reached the final tables and agreed to chops, how's this option work and which option do you use for doing this method. ie, do you have to contact customer support or is there like a option button where you press to see if they are agreed on deals. Just very curious since Im very new to this, thanks for your reply.

  1. I have done this before.  There is no option (at least not on Poker Stars or Full Tilt I have found) which allows you to do this automatically.

What I have done is the other player and I agree to just take the 1st and 2nd place money and split it evenly (usualy if we have be going heads up for a while.)  After we have agreed we both go all-in on every hand until there is a winner.  Whomever wins the tourney transfers money to the 2nd place finisher.

You should be warned that the poker sites can not (or more likely will not) enforce these deals.  So you could run into someone who will scam you by asking you to split the money and running off with it.  But so far I have split the winnings 4 times without problems.  Besides if that person does run off you still have a 2nd place finish and have not really lost much.

  2. Take a look at this free E-book about playing poker online. Inside it is a very basic method that can help anyone (even new players) profit wildly from online poker.

  3. The easies way is the chip count deal which is how they (Poker Stars) will run the numbers

If you have 2 players left here is how it might work.

    Player A has 150,000 chips

    Player B has 100,000 chips

Blinds are 2500/5000 with a 500 Ante so basically it's 20 BB vs 30 BB.

    Now the payoffs are 1st $1000 and 2nd $600

You would give each player $600 and divide the remaining $400 via chip percentages.

Player 1 has 60% of the chips so he would get an additional $240 for a total prize of $840.

Player 2 would get an additional $160 for a total prize of $760.

    They now both must agree.

If they do not agree the tournament continues.

The better the player the less likely they are to make a deal unless they are getting more than expected.
