  1. I play the $1.20 9 table sngs and the $5.50 single table sngs. As far as massive tournaments, I stick to the tiny buy ins... $.50 or less, or just the freerolls, cause I'm not great at huge tournaments just yet,  but it's always worth a shot and the practice.

  2. I play single table sit'n'gos at the $5 or $10 buy in, and I often play the multi table tournaments that are only a couple of bucks to buy into.  I'm working on my bankroll management, and consequently I only play the lower limit stuff.  But I started off on PS with nothing, won a buck in a freeroll, and have turned it into more than $60.  I'm hoping to build a $1000 bankroll from nothing.  I play about every other day, and only play the MTT's on the weekends.

  3. Not including SNGs, Pokerstars has pretty regular tournaments at incremental dollar amounts starting as low as $.10, and going all the way up to at least $200. It's very easy to find tournaments there that a player of any bankroll can be comfortable with.

  4. You should buy in at a level that you are comfortable with that won't upset you if you lose the money. Pokerstars has tournaments starting at $1.  I think they have multi table tournaments for as low as .10.

  5. My pattern is like this:

    If my bankroll is:

    $1-5: I play the $1, 9 player SNG's until i win.

    $6-10: I play the $1, 18 or 45 player SNG's.

    $11-15: I play the $5, 9 player SNG's or the $4 180 player SNG's.

    $16-25: I play the $10, 9 player SNG's or $3 45 player sng's

When my bankroll hits $100, I start off at $1 again.

This keeps me ahead at all times, usually, and I'm rarely negative for a long period of time.

Regarding larger tournaments, I only play if the buy-in is $3 or less, and it fits in my bankroll as above. I also try to get into freerolls and free plays, so while I often enter $11 tourney's, it only costs me 70 fpp's.
