I need help answering this essay question for my final. The role of the state (government) in development. What is development?How is it measured?Discuss in detail the concept of the stong state, weak state (scope and capacity).

How does the lack of the state capacity inhibit development in Nigeria or Mexico? Give detail discussion. or compare and contrast scope and capacity in the US and China.

Development  means improving a countries economic and social conditions , its measured by how much a country needs development  a strong state wont need as much development as a weak state needs , countries like Nigeria or Mexico wont be properly developed .
