Does anyone know the key foods and ingredients used in Polish recipes?

  1. Er... mostly those you would describe as unhealthy. Meat: pork, chicken, beef. Fats: lard, butter. Vegetables: potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beetroot. Fruit: apples, plums, pears, strawberries, blackberries. Spices: marjoran, laurel leaf, allspice, cinnamon, cloves.
