Poland gets ready to rumble at EuroVolley 2011 – Volleyball latest
The men’s volleyball competition, 2011 EuroVolley, is just around the corner as the tournament is slated to take centre stage on Saturday, September 10 and will complete its length on September 18. Austria and the Czech Republic will serve as the prestigious
hosts for this one-week campaign. Poland has anounced its squad on Septmeber 5th and is ready to take on their rivals for the crown.
A total of sixteen teams from all across Europe have registered their names in the competition. Bulgaria, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Russia, Belgium, Serbia, Slovenia, Portugal, Estonia, Turkey, Italy, France and Finland will join
the battle for volleyball supremacy. Poland will try to defend its crown from 2009, while other participants of the competition will also be looking to improve their rankings.
Recently, the head coach of the Polish team, Andrea Anastasi, disclosed the names of players, who will represent Poland in the EuroVolley. The roster of Poland’s National Team will include the following players:

Poland has been placed in Pool D of EuroVolley 2011. They will be joined by teams from Bulgaria, Slovakia and Germany. The City of Prague in Czech Republic will host the Pool D matches. The Polish team is enjoying great form and are determined to maintain
their dominance on others. Anastasi’s squad is scheduled to take off from Warsaw on Thursday. They will install their bases in the city of Prague and start training in Spala.
The hosts of the competition, Czech Republic and Austria, have been placed in different groups. The National Teams of the Czech Republic will be joined by Russia, Portugal and Estonia in Pool B. City of Karlovy Vary in Austria will set up the field of play
for Pool B teams. Likewise, Austria will open the tournament under the tag of Pool A. Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey will also be labeled as Pool A teams.
The remaining four teams will be placed in Pool C, which will be comprised of Italy, France, Finland, and Belgium. Pool C games will be staged in Innsbruck, Czech Republic. The clock is ticking down quickly and there is not much time left in the opening
of the competition. All teams in EuroVolley are busy making plans for better performance in the competition.
