Poland is working on team roster before the start of 2011 FIVB World League
The 2011 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World League is fast approaching. The elite international volleyball tournament is scheduled to start off in the month of the May.
A total of 16 best teams from across the globe will enter the competition, which will be formally opened on May 27. The teams have been divided into four pools:
Pool A: Brazil, Poland, United States and Puerto Rico Pool B: Russia, Bulgaria, Germany and Japan Pool C: Serbia, Argentina, Portugal and Finland Pool D: Cuba, Italy, France and South Korea
Since there is not much time left in the opening of FIVB World League, the participating countries are busy sorting out their team rosters. Each one of the participant will have great plans to catch the limelight this year.
In this connection, the new mentor of Poland’s Men’s National Volleyball Team Andrea Anastasi was pretty much busy analyzing player-performances. He took over the charge of Polish team only two months back and has the big task to select a team of best players.
After careful analysis, he has finalized the list of following 20 players for the national team roster.

The squad of 20 players will be further shortlisted in the coming weeks. The team will continue preparation for the mega event, while a 12-team roster will be revealed before the opening of 2011 FIVB World League.
Poland will play in Pool A together with tough teams of the world such as Brazil, United States and Puerto Rico. The final round of the FIVB World League is scheduled to take place in Polish city of Gdansk-Sopot, next July. Polish will surely try to play
in the final round in the home city.
