They are about to die, why?  Global Warming.  Who caused the Global Warming that is destroying there natural habitat and prey?  Humans.  Polar bears will be endangered in the near future and might start looking for other places to live, perhaps in human populated areas.

the polar bear is thriving in Canada - where the largest population exists and they ARE NOT on the endagered species list in Canada.

There is no such thing as man-made global warming.
