i heard in the summer months that grizzly bear and polar bears confront each other in the seacoast and sometimes on the open ice. those encounters are becoming more common. i think the polar bear usually fleas because it they overheat quickly or they just wanna avoid a fight all together. if a polar bear really wanted to, it could a kill a grizzly bear. because size alone, like the grizzly the polar bear has a lot power behind their swipe.

  1. Oddly enough, when polar bears and grizzly bears meet, polar bears usually flee. When they don't flee, they usually mate. They have found bears that are half polar and half grizzly, they call them prizzly or grolar bears. But if they were to actually fight, its nearly impossible to speculate who would win because they are so evenly matched. Yes the polar bear is bigger and heavier, however, they seem to have a natural fear or intimidation from grizzly bears. Who wins, depends on the mental and physical state of each bear, if there's an insanely big polar bear who is eating, and a smaller grizzly bear comes for its food. Depending on whether or not the polar bear is passive or aggressive determines whether or not it will kill the grizzly. On the other hand, if the same thing happended, but the grizzly bear was bigger, the grizzly would most likely intimidate the polar bear into fleeing or kill him.

Who wins, is determined largely by the size difference and more importantly the mental state of each bear.
