Polar bears are a threatened species. Will we be able to drill for oil in Alaska now?

There are 5x more polar bears now than there were several years ago. (25,000).

The size of the ice shelf is at an all time HIGH.

Will this status keep us from drilling in Alaska so we may become self-sufficient?

  1. Absolutely ridiculous!  The environmentalists would have the world go back to being a primitive society.  No thanks.  Die polar bear, die!

  2. We have been drilling and pumping oil up here in Alaska since 1977. The wildlife are just fine with the pipeline. We don't have enough oil to satisfy the needs and wants of the USA. Gas up here was $3.86/gal.

  3. The exact reason for this polar bear deal was to further block drilling in the artic. Looks like it might be executive order time. They know that polar bears aren't threatened and it's a CS way to bring more damage to the economy of the country. Believe it that liberals are actively trying to destroy this country as they did in Russia after WWll.

  4. I cannot believe our POLITICIANS LISTENS to these wacky environmentalists.  Yes the Polar Bear population has GROWN since the 1970's, grown 25,000 polar bears mind you.  And YES this is a way for the wacky environmentalists to put a hack job on any thought of our country being able to drill on our lands.   THESE POLITICIANS MUST BE VOTED OUT PRONTO!!!!!  Obviously they are NOT WELL INFORMED.  They listen to these lobbyists and wacky groups thinking what they say is actually true.  Shame on us voters for letting these Politicians to remain in office.

WAKE UP AMERICA  seems everyone, everyone is hyjacking OUR COUNTRY.

  5. Nope,no drilling, more high gas prices because of the wicked fools in gov'mnt.
