  1. Here is the site you want;http://216.37.204.206/Mcmart/Polaris_OEM...

Sounds like you have a poor connection somewhere. The starter solenoid is inside the electrical box and rarely fails. Check your battery and ground connections. Use a test light at the starter when you attempt to start. If the test light lights, the starter is the trouble. If the test light doesn't light, you have trouble elsewhere. Connect the test light ground lead to the starter motor and the probe to the big red wire for the first test. Then connect the ground lead to the battery ground. This will test to see if the starter motor is properly grounded.

  2. Well there's a number of possibilities for it just clicking.  Here is the order to probably check it.

    Battery charge and condition

    Starter relay

    Starter

    Ignition system

When doing any troubleshooting, repairs, or maintenance, do not bother hunting on web sites for specific information for servicing PWC's.  This requires that you purchase a service manual for the model and year of your PWC.  There is no subsitute for having this on hand when working on your PWC, period.

The web site br549's listed with reference numbers to parts and schematics might help some, but still that's no subsitute for keeping a service manual at home when working on your PWC.
