My husband purchased the above television from our local Wal-Mart approximately one year ago!
My husband is presently on the National Donor Organ Registry for both a donor transplant kidney and liver since 08/2005. In April, 2007 he was diagnosed with a brain anerysm. In the meantime, his heart rate began dropping to about 30 beats per minute and he received a surgically implanted Pacemaker in Sept., 2007. In December, 2007, he had to have surgery to establish a "fistula" in his arm as doctors feel he will need to have dialysis started very soon. Last week his television just went blank and he says, it appears as though the television is not receiving a signal!! I am not sure just what he meant about this. He goes "septic" quite often from the toxins his blood can not eliminate through his kidney as they should be done!! He is presently in the hospital for this condition.
To make matters worse for us I have been wheelchair bound myself since May, 2002. Thus, I am not able to go through and do things the proper way they should be done. I used to be a meticulous perfectionist about keeping all paper work, etc. on each, and every, major purchase we made.
I call our local Wal-Mart this morning to see if they could help me with the exact purchase date and they can not. I wanted so very badly about seeing about getting this television fixed or replaced so he will have some thing to do upon returning home from the hospital again this time!
We are on a very extremely tight budget as I am on disability at 53 and my husband just lost a very high managerial position with the local electric generating power station on January 01, 2005 due to "cutbacks" in budgeting!! Thus, we went from a fairly comfortable middle-class life to an extremely poor barely making it position in life do to our extensive health insurance premiums, large medical deductibles and extremely high prescription bills which all see to come out of our own pockets!!
I REALLY need some help in looking in to what I can do to get this television set fix or replaced as soon as possible for my husband's hopeful coming back home again soon!
Can you please help me?
I can not thank you enough for your time and trouble into checking into this matter for me!!
