Polaroid sd 1gb memory card?

ok i got a polaroid sd 1gb memory card, and on the two cameras that i have it says the card is locked up, well how do i unlock it? or is it just a waste of card? i only have 5 pictures and i tried to delete them but it wont?

I had this problem before. just look on the side of the card; there's a tiny notch that you can slide up and down. Look at the position it's in and then slide it in the opposite direction. Once you try to delete them, it should work. If not, it may be ruined. Good luck!
