Police/911 dispatchers?

Question

I am currently in training for police dispatch in a large city. My position requires me to do 2 hour rotations between the radio and taking 911 calls. And i had the choice to just be a call taker or do dispatch as well. My question is, Is dispatching a lot more difficult than taking the 911 calls and if you do both which do you like better?

Also honestly do you like your job?

Call taking is generally accepted as being more difficult since the callers can be irate and difficult and not have the info you need to process the call.  And I love my profession.  It's very rewarding and fun.
