Police Attack Good Samaritan?

Your views on this story, what do you think should happen to the two policemen involved?

As a retired Police Officer, I am ashamed of what the Service has come to. These two thugs should be charged just as anyone else should and brought before the Courts to be dealt with severely. Why have they not at least been suspended? not left on duty while someone decides what to do with them.

There are bad apples in every barrel but it seems that there are more and more as time goes on. Once upon a time the interview to become a Police Officer weeded out these types, but it seems that as long as you can pass the exams and fitness you are in nowadays. Lets get back to the old ways of selection

they should be charged with assault but knowing the british laws they will probably just get a slap on the wrist & suspended from work with full pay :-)

Suspend whilst the enquiry is being made. If guilty ,sacked and charges of assault, a.b.h. and malicious intend should proceed. Poor bloke, we don't need scum like that in our Police Force.

This is typical of the police of today,two of them who don't know the events and just wade in. This is a terrible way for them to have acted, I'm just surprised that they acted at all. They both deserve disciplinary action, but unfortunately these lot look after each other and close ranks. It's small wonder that I and many other people hold these incompetents in complete contempt.

It is a disgrace, but not that uncommon. The police are becoming bullies (I think that they were all bullied in school).

They should be prosecuted with the full force of the law, if two other (non police) yobs had done this, they would be jailed!

As far as I am concerned they should be made an example of!

I hope that the farmer sues the h**l out of them both, and the police force for employing trash like that!
